Japan, Hawaii Earthquakes Followed By Indonesian Volcanic Eruption

Mount Karangetang, one of Indonesia's most active volcanos, has erupted just hours after a massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit Japan and a smaller unrelated quake hit Hawaii on Friday.

Incredibly Indonesia has just been hit - past 30 minutes or so - by half-a-metre high tsunami waves generated by the Japan quake.

Damage reports on the waves are still awaited.

Mount Karangetang erupted this afternoon sending gas and lava down its sides and endangering nearby villages.

Volcanology official Agus Budianto said that authorities were still trying to evacuate residents living along the slopes of Mount Karangetang.

The mountain, situated on Siau in the Sulawesi island chain, killed four people when it last erupted in August 2010.

Indonesia sits on the volcanically hyperactive “Pacific Ring of Fire”.

Earthquake in Japan

What: The biggest earthquake to hit Japan since officials began keeping records in the late 1800s struck off the country's northeast coast March 11 at 2:46 p.m. local time. It was at first designated a magnitude 8.9 and later raised to 9.0.

The initial quake was followed by hundreds of aftershocks, some of them more than magnitude 6.0, and triggered a tsunami that swallowed homes, swept away cars and boats and forced people to scramble to higher ground.

Almost 8,500 people have died and almost 13,000 are missing, officials say.

Where: The quake struck at a depth of 24 kilometres, about 125 kilometres off the northeastern coast of Japan. The massive wave it triggered swamped dikes in the Japan's northeast, leaving a massive trail of debris. Cities and villages along the 2,100-kilometre stretch of coastline were shaken by violent tremors that reached as far away as Tokyo, hundreds of kilometres from the quake's epicentre. The International Red Cross had said more than four million households were without power. By the weelend, about 343,000 Japanese households still did not have electricity, and about one million had no running water.

Zombie PCs to Soon Start Destroying Hard Disk
The so-called zombie computers that were used in the distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against South Korean Web sites are expected to soon begin destroying their computer hard disks.

The government says that the zombie PCs infected with the malicious code are receiving new orders to block their access to vaccination sites and to immediately destroy the hard disk drives.

Hard disk destruction was initially expected to occur four to seven days after the computers were infected with the virus but the destruction is now expected to begin any time soon.

The hackers are believed to have given this new order as the DDos attacks failed to create a major disruption on the Korean portals.

The government says that the Korea Internet and Security Agency provided hundreds of Internet protocol (IP) addresses from which the viruses and orders are believed to have originated. A total of 729 IP addresses have been blocked.

Computer users are advised to check their computers against the malicious codes and to download vaccines if necessary.

This youtube video is about a korean singer palgiarised a pop song. The korean singer is called G-Ddragon and he palgirised songs from Flo Ride. This was a big issue from Korea when it first appeared, but at last, nobody knew it was a actural palgirism or not because some part was very similar and some part was not. I wish this kind of issues does not appears anymore and music industry goes calm and peacefully.
